• The hydrophilia of Polyethersulfone is much better than that of polysulfone. Through blending with polyvinylpyrrolidone(PVP), the hydrophobic structure of the polyethersulfone will have a better balance with the polyvinylpyrrolidone(PVP). When the connection of the membrane and blood happens, the interaction between the membrane and blood components is greatly reduced so as to reduce protein absorption and does not produce methyl radical. The antithrombosis of the polyethersulfone(PES) membrane material has been confirmed. Therefore, polyethersulfone membrane material has a more remarkable biocompability.
